How to Specify This Charger
Battery chemistry. Li-ion (NMC/LCO) cells charge to ~4.2 V/cell; a 48 V pack terminates near 54.6 V and offers high energy density.
Voltage match. The unit is built for 36V batteries with an end-of-charge output of 42V. Confirm your pack's series count against this termination voltage before integration.
Charge current. Rated output current is 2.0A. As a rule of thumb, charge time (hours) ≈ battery capacity (Ah) ÷ current (A) × 1.2 for the CV taper. Size current to your acceptable charge window and pack longevity target.
Connector. Default connector is Giant EnergyPak 5-pin. Custom connectors and harnesses are available under OEM/ODM to match your existing harness.
