Custom Lithium Battery Charger Checklist for Battery Pack Manufacturers
A custom charger program works best when the battery pack specification is complete before the charger configuration is selected. The charger must match the pack chemistry, voltage window, BMS behavior, connector and intended operating environment.
Define the electrical requirement
- Battery nominal voltage and required charge voltage
- Battery chemistry and BMS charging limits
- Required output current and charging time target
- AC input range for the target market
Define the mechanical requirement
Confirm enclosure size, cable length, connector, label content, indicator requirement, mounting method and cooling expectations. For outdoor or industrial projects, state the expected exposure and installation position so the appropriate model configuration can be reviewed.
Plan validation before volume supply
Use the final battery pack and connector during sample evaluation. Verify charging behavior, connector fit, polarity, thermal behavior and any communication requirement before approving bulk supply. Documents and market requirements should be reviewed for the exact model and destination market.
OEM and distributor information
Custom connector matching, voltage configuration, label artwork and packaging can be evaluated for OEM/ODM projects after the technical requirement is confirmed.
Send Your Charger Requirement
To check a suitable configuration, please send your battery voltage, battery chemistry, connector photo, and required quantity.
